I submitted the NotePerformer playback of Takeoff for crowd reviews and the results are in: dropbox.com/sh/yea079m5bqyr15s/AAAp51OSVazccHITLgpxQGtIa The NotePerformer playback scored 7.7 and earned a featured spot. Not bad for computer playback! It will be interesting to see how the mockup does in comparison - when it is ready. (You may notice, if you look at the report, there are a few reviews where "vocals" and "singer" were mentioned - these are reviewers who simply wanted the money without doing the job. As you may notice, we typically provide additional reviews per report to offset any reviews that may be weighted less due to lesser constructive feedback or fra

It is February 2021. I am doing well with my music. I released my debut single, Serenade , back in the summer - and I have a new single, Takeoff , currently under production. I have been in contact with a local music school, Bel Canto Strings Academy , and the director wants to submit a performance video of Serenade for an arts show on a local TV channel. She also wants to play my string quartet, Bliss , with her students. I sent her the sheet music and they started rehearsal last month. I always loved classical music. It was all I would listen to in high school, and I was the only one in my family who did. In 2007, when I was 20, I started composing for the very first time and discovered my raw talent. I grew more passionate than ever before. I envisioned myself as a classical artist. I wanted to release singles and albums just like any other music artist. I wanted to hear my music played on Classical 96.3 FM. I wanted to tour the world with a personal orchestra and conduct

I recategorized myself as an artist on social media. I previously categorized myself as a comic, following my resolution at age 30. I felt like I had to commit to a chosen artform. I now see myself as a multidisciplinary artist. artist: (noun) a person who practices any of the various creative arts, such as a sculptor, novelist, poet, or filmmaker. "An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art." I like to think of an artist as a professional who creates specialized works of information, food for the soul.

It was more than a decade ago. Life got in the way and I didn't compose much since. I am now making full circle - doing what I set out to do back when I first moved to Hamilton in 2009 - brand myself as a classical artist and bring back to life the great old genre!
